Q: Guys what could be the reasons for his rejection?
A: perhaps he is not yet ready for a relationship again. Give him time I'd suggest, and continue your friendship. Someday maybe he'll look at you and realise he is ready and he wants to be with you. If not, then well you've still got a friend! :)
